Thailand: Worshippers prostrate before a Buddha in one of the Khmer shrines at Wat Kamphaeng Laeng, Phetchaburi

Wat Kamphaeng Laeng was originally a 12th century Khmer Hindu place of worship, later becoming a Buddhist temple. Phetchaburi probably also marked the southernmost extent of the Khmer Empire.
