Thailand: Looking towards Ko Larn at sunset from Pattaya, Chonburi Province

Ko Larn lies 7 km (4.5 miles) off the coast of Pattaya and is just 4km long and 2 km wide.

The main port is Naban Pier. There are six beaches on the island—all picturesque little coves that connect to Naban Pier by concrete road. Visitors can get around the island on pick-up truck taxis, motorcycle taxis or by renting motorbikes. Each beach has guest houses, restaurants, shops and tourist facilities. In high season or at weekends the island is very popular.

For its size, Ko Larn has an amazing variety of activities available. A semi-submerged boat offers tours where passengers can view coral and fish through the bottom of the boat. Jet-skis, parasailing, banana boats, scuba diving, snorkeling, fishing and target shooting are also available.
