Thailand: Chinese statues in front of the ubosot (ordination hall) at Wat Thepthidaram Worawihan, Bangkok

King Rama III, Jessadabodindra (31 March 1787 – 2 April 1851), 3rd monarch of the Chakri Dynasty, built Wat Thepthidaram Worawihan in 1836 for his daughter, Princess Kroma Muen Apsomsudathep.

From 1840 to 1842, Sunthorn Phu (1786-1855) resided as a monk within the temple.
