China: 'Wang Qi Drinking Wine'. Qing Dynasty painter Ding Yu, late 18th-early 19th century

Ding Yu was a daughter of the painter Ding Yungong and a skilled painter in her own right.

Wang Qi was the chief author of the Sancai Tuhui, a celebrated Ming Dynasty encyclopedia published in 1609.
